We have been trying to conceive for over a year. After about six months the doctor diagnosed me with PCOS. This can cause infertility and she put me on Metformin to help regulate my hormones. I was going in at least once a month for them to draw blood to see if I had ovulated and we were about to give up. On August 16 I went in for my yearly exam and we discussed putting me on Clomid. I was a little terrified because we just want ONE baby, not a dozen. The doctor wanted me to come in the next week to have my progesterone levels checked again. The next day the nurse called and wanted me to come in AGAIN. She said my progesterone had gone up and they wanted to check them again to try and pinpoint when I ovulated. That was good news! I had finally ovulated. I left with instructions to call the office when my next cycle started. That was Wednesday, September 22.
