My wonderful friend Melissa got married this morning. It was a gorgeous outdoor wedding during the morning time. After that, we went home and quickly changed. We went to my school for my DECA serve day. We were planning to go collect cans for Harvest Share. Only one student showed up. ONE! I was so disappointed. I told her she didn’t have to stay and we’d plan something else after the break. Maybe my students don’t care as much as I thought!
We went to the ballpark for Jackson’s baseball game. I told a few people and I’m starting to get a little upset that people are so shocked. Is it because I am too old? Someone at the wedding wanted to know if we did it on purpose. Was I still planning to work? So, I want to say: YES, we did it on purpose. YES, we know how old our boys are. YES, I plan to keep working. YES, I know how old I am!
